Find and Open Your Photos App
Look at your iPhone's home screen β€” the main screen you see when you pick it up.

Find the app that looks like a colorful flower with petals. That is your Photos app. Give it one tap to open it.
πŸ” Can't find it on your screen?Swipe your finger slowly downward from the middle of your screen. A search bar will appear at the top. Type the word Photos and it will show up right away. Tap it to open.

Tap the word "Select" at the top right β€” then tap your photo

Choose the Photo You Want to Send
Once Photos opens, you'll see all your pictures laid out like a photo album. Scroll up and down to look through them.

Look at the top right corner of your screen β€” you'll see the word Select. Tap that first.

Now tap the photo you want to
πŸ’‘ Only sending one photo?You can also just tap directly on the photo to open it up big, and then follow the same steps from there. Either way works fine!

The Share button is at the very bottom left of your screen

Tap the Share Button at the Bottom
Look at the very bottom of your screen. On the left side you'll see this button β€” a little box with an arrow coming up out of the top of it. That is your Share button. Tap it.
πŸ’› You'll see this everywhere on your iPhoneThis same little icon shows up all over β€” in Safari, in your camera, in Mail. It always means the same thing: share or send this.

A Menu Pops Up β€” Pick Who to Send It To
After you tap Share, a menu slides up from the bottom of your screen.

At the very top you'll see small round pictures of people you text often. If you see the person you want to send to, just tap their picture β€” your phone will open a text to them right away!

πŸ“§ What about Mail?You can tap Mail to email the photo instead β€” but you'll need to already know their email address, like sue@gmail.com. If you're not sure, just use Messages β€” it's much easier!

The Photo Is Waiting β€” Now Tap Send
Your text message will open with the photo already sitting inside it. But it has not been sent yet. It's just sitting there waiting β€” like a letter in an envelope that hasn't been mailed.

You can type a little note if you'd like, or just leave
πŸ”Š How you'll know it sentIf your volume is on, you'll hear a little whoosh sound. The photo will also move from the dashed box into a solid blue bubble β€” and you'll see the time appear next to it. That means it went through!

Send a Photo Without Ever Leaving the Conversation
Here's something most people don't know. If you're already inside a text conversation and someone asks for a photo, you don't have to go all the way back to your Photos app first.

Look at the bottom of the conversation, right next to where you type. Tap the little πŸ’› When is this handy?Your daughter texts "Can you send me that photo from Sunday?" You can reply with the picture right there in the same conversation β€” no switching apps, no extra steps!

Way 1
Open Photos β†’ Select photo β†’ Tap Share ↑ β†’ Choose Messages β†’ Pick person β†’ Tap Send ●
Way 2
Open text conversation β†’ Tap + β†’ Tap Photos β†’ Pick photo β†’ Tap Send ●
⭐ Remember the Share button. That little box with an upward arrow appears all over your iPhone β€” in Safari, your camera, Mail. It always means the same thing: share or send this. Now you know it!
